INTERWOVEN (12 June 2026)

From glorious stardust to humble dust
 you and I have lived through it all
Yet so easily we feel uncertain and lost
 walking the woodlands of life
When it all becomes too much
 and my lungs struggle to draw air
I'll take solace in your eternal serene
 heeding every fibre of my being
 whispering your name
 evergreen

"There will be more time" we pretend
 yet we know
The fleetingness of the sweet moments
 of togetherness
And the elasticity of seconds stretching
 to an eternity
as the heart aches longing for a beloved
 lost to time
